The EdgeXOS backup solution typically deploys with a local 2TB onsite RAID array to duplicate servers and then back them up to an external and secure data center from which a complete hardware redundant server platform can be deployed in the event of a major site-wide outage. Our Online Backup Manager (OBM) software works on a variety of platforms including, Windows, MAC, Unix, Solaris, Linux, and Netware. The OBM is simple to install and takes only minutes to setup and begin a data backup. The software is especially designed to backup mission critical servers like Oracle, MySQL, MS Exchange, Lotus, and has built-in hooks to deliver a fast, clean backup.
Easy Installation
With the EdgeXOS backup solution there is no complicated application configuration, simply install the OBM software on any workstation or server you wish to backup and the EdgeXOS platform will automatically detect that the software is installed and begin prioritizing the data flow and ensure that the data is getting to the GDV data centers.
Backup Prioritization & Link Redundancy
Unlike other appliance based solutions, the EdgeXOS backup solution includes built-in link redundancy for automated connectivity failover to ensure 24/7 access to recovery files, the solution also leverages the GDV network to gain scalability that appliance only solutions can only provide with costly upgrades. Hardware Replacement
