Policy Shaping
Are you finding that your critical applications are slowed down by recreational users? Use policies to shape traffic based on source/destination IP address, protocol, src/dst port, and packet string. Many of the most popular applications are predefined and the administrator can create or customize applications as needed.
Beyond standard shaping which is based on address, port, protocol, the EdgeXOS Bandwidth Managers shaping is based on full session flow information which ensures that only those specific sessions which are exceeding the pre-set limits are shaped.
