WAN Optimization Appliance
The WANaXcel appliance provides optimization between
remote sites for crticial realtime applications. Leveraging data
compression and caching techniques the WANaXcel appliance
also speeds up file downloads. The multi-WAN capabilities of
the WANaXcel enable customers to link two or more
broadband connections in order to scale the amount of
bandwidth that is available between sites.

Improve Realtime Application Performance
Unlike other WAN optimization appliances, the WANaXcel
appliance has the unique ability to accelerate real-time
applications which can not be further compressed or cached
(as they are real-time), by utilizing multiple routes between the
remote sites, thus increasing overall bandwidth for the
real-time applications to utilize.
Speed Up File Downloads
By leveraging data compression and caching the WANaXcel can
speed up file download rates by a factor of up to 2100%.
Reduce Excel file transfers, email, powerpoint presentations,
and NetBios connectivity utilizing one or more ISP connections.
Automated Failover Across Multiple ISP Connections
When mutiple broadband links are employed the WANaXcel
will automatically switch between links and remove the
effected links from service and then restore service without the
end-user noticing that any outage has occurred.
